Job summary

Electronic Theatre Controls is seeking a meticulous Secondary Set Up Operator to join our Metal Shop on 1st shift. You will set up machines, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet specifications in a clean, climate-controlled environment.

Ideal candidates have a solid mechanical aptitude, basic tool knowledge, and good math skills. You will document actions, maintain safety, and collaborate with team members to keep production flowing smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6–12 months of metal shop setup experience.
• Able to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Manufactures parts to the standards and specifications.
• Sets up the insertion machines.
• Follows procedures and selects tools and materials.
• Ensures work orders are completed and labeled correctly.
• Maintains productivity and completes assignments as scheduled.
• Keeps machines running at full capacity for each job.
• Documents actions and communicates needs for the next shift.
• Ensures product quality by frequent checks and adherence to ISO procedures.
