You will retrieve materials, operate presses and cutting tools, inspect parts, and keep an organized, safe workspace. This role emphasizes hands-on operation, adherence to safety protocols, documentation of production data, and collaboration with the Metal Shop Manager to drive continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or metal shop environment preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn and operate machinery.
• Strong safety awareness and following shop rules.
• Good communication with team members and supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Material handling and transferring metal materials to workstations.
• Operate metal shop machinery with safety protocols.
• Inspect metal parts for defects and ensure quality.
• Maintain tools and report issues to Metal Shop Manager.
• Complete production paperwork accurately and timely.
• Adhere to PPE and lockout/tagout procedures.
