• Strong mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate metal shear equipment safely and efficiently
• Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and production schedules
• Verify material dimensions and specifications
• Measure finished parts using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools
• Set up and adjust equipment as needed
• Maintain production counts and documentation
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Follow all company safety procedures and policies
• Keep your work area clean and organized
