Job summary

Clow Stamping Company is seeking a reliable Shear Operator to cut metal sheets to precise specifications. You will operate shear equipment, monitor processes, and ensure quality while moving materials with forklifts and cranes.

Starting pay is $19.80 per hour with potential up to $20.80, plus a $1,000 hiring bonus for select positions. We offer benefits, holiday and PTO, health plans, 401(k), and a temperature-controlled, on-site facility.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of relevant manufacturing or material handling experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow job instructions within an ERP system.
• Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Ability to safely operate or learn to operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks based on production needs.

$1,000 Hiring Bonus

If you enjoy working with machinery, handling large materials, and taking pride in producing quality work, a Shear Operator role at Clow could be a great fit.

As a Shear Operator, you'll operate industrial shear equipment to cut metal sheets to precise specifications that support the production of quality components for leading manufacturers. You'll work with forklifts, overhead cranes, and other equipment while helping keep materials moving and production running efficiently.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys working with equipment, solving problems, and being part of a team that builds something every day.

Shifts Available:

• Shift 01: 6:00am - 2:00pm, Monday - Friday
• Shift 13:4:00am - 2:00pm, Monday - Thursday

• Shift 14: 2:00pm – 12:00am, Monday – Thursday (+$1.25/hour shift differential)
• Shift 21: 6:00am - 6:00pm, Friday - Sunday (+3.50/hour shift differential)

Starting Rate of Pay:

• $19.80 per hour base rate. Candidates with relevant experience may be eligible for base pay up to $20.80 per hour.

What You\'ll Do

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move throughout the shift in a production environment
• Frequent handling of metal materials and scrap
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed up to 100lbs
• Work performed in a manufacturing setting with exposure to moving equipment
• Required PPE: eye protection, hearing protection, MET guard safety shoes

• $1,000 Hiring Bonus – Paid after 6 months of employment. Offer valid for select positions hired between Memorial Day and Labor Day 2026.
