Ferrous Processing and Trading (FPT) in Toledo, OH is hiring a General Laborer to support scrap metal processing and material handling. You will operate equipment, sort metals, and assist with maintenance and cleaning tasks.

Qualifications include basic reading/writing, age 18+, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior experience with mobile equipment is preferred; strong teamwork and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and perform basic math.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience operating mobile equipment preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a dusty environment.

Responsabilités

• Process scrap metals and operate tools and equipment safely.
• Load and unload materials from storage, production areas, docks, and vehicles.
• Sort materials to separate high-grade metals and remove non-conforming items.
• Operate and maintain mobile equipment (forklifts, skid steers, etc.).
• Perform cleaning duties and assist mechanics as needed.
• Identify scrap grades and materials; follow PPE requirements.
