Job summary

SOLID Surface Care, Inc. is seeking an experienced Metal Refinishing Foreman to lead a field crew on commercial restoration projects. You will restore and refinish architectural metal surfaces, evaluate sites, and guide technicians to deliver high-quality work.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, safety, and client communication, with relocation assistance and a retention bonus program for qualifying markets. Training and career growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Previous professional experience in architectural metal restoration, refinishing, polishing or maintenance.
• Experience working with a variety of metal surfaces and restoration techniques.
• Previous Foreman, Lead Technician, Crew Lead or similar leadership experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside a crew of Metal Technicians on commercial restoration and maintenance projects.
• Restore and refinish architectural metal surfaces using appropriate techniques, tools and products.
• Evaluate jobsite conditions and determine the appropriate restoration approach.
• Coordinate daily work assignments and ensure crews are prepared to execute the work safely and efficiently.
• Train, coach and develop technicians in proper metal restoration techniques and SOLID standards.
• Monitor quality and productivity and ensure work meets customer and SOLID expectations.
• Communicate with Operations leadership regarding job progress, staffing needs, customer concerns and potential issues.
• Maintain tools, equipment and materials and ensure crews follow established safety requirements.
• Complete required job documentation accurately and on time.
• Represent SOLID professionally with customers and employees.
