Job summary

Pivotal Health Solutions is seeking a Painter to join our fabrication team in Watertown, SD. The role focuses on preparing surfaces (steel, aluminum, and other metals) for painting and powder coating in a fabrication shop. You will ensure materials are prepped and ready, following established procedures.

The position requires manufacturing assembly experience or mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and good communication skills. A complete benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing assembly experience and/or high level of mechanical aptitude.
• Good communication skills; detail oriented, dependable, and team oriented.
• Build defect-free products that meet Quality Standards.
• Adhere to safety standards and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Accurate handling of products to be processed.
• Hanging and taking down products from conveyor lines, sanding, masking, plugging to prep for paint lines.
• Prepare metal for the powder application process including hanging, washing, plugging, scrubbing, taping, and sanding of parts.
• Utilize work instructions to follow established procedures.
• Shrink wrap, count, and prep products for shipping.
• Assist in QA final inspections.
• Maintain clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
