Wenger Corporation is seeking a Metal Machine Operator for the 1st shift at the Owatonna, MN facility. The role involves setting up and operating metal fabrication equipment, including CNC presses, brakes, and saws, while meeting quality standards under limited supervision.

You will follow drawings and instructions, perform quality checks, and document production data. Strong math, tooling, and teamwork skills are essential; English proficiency is required for safety and operation.

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and basic math skills are required.
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools and precision measuring devices.
• Willingness to learn and perform multiple tasks within the work area.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate metal fabrication machinery including CNC equipment.
• Follow blueprints or work instructions to ensure accurate part production.
• Perform quality checks and adjust processes as needed while coordinating with maintenance.
• Record production data and complete required paperwork and computer transactions.
• Assist with machine setup and basic maintenance; train new operators as directed.
