Kovach Enclosure Systems is seeking an experienced Metal Leadman to guide the safe, high‑quality installation of architectural metal and exterior building-envelope systems. This hands‑on working‑lead role partners with the crew to direct daily tasks, coordinate work, monitor productivity, and ensure workmanship meets drawings, specs, schedules, safety requirements, and Kovach standards.
As a primary technical resource, you will read shop drawings, perform field layout, troubleshoot installation
Qualifications
- 3+ years installing architectural metal or building-envelope systems.
- Ability to lead or direct a construction crew.
- Ability to read shop drawings, specifications, installation details, and manufacturer instructions.
- Knowledge of field layout, measurements, elevations, and installation sequencing.
- Commitment to safe work practices and quality workmanship.
- Reliable attendance and ability to report to jobsites as scheduled.
Responsibilities
- Lead installation of architectural metal and exterior building-envelope systems.
- Read drawings, specs, installation details, and manufacturer instructions.
- Provide daily direction, coordinate crew productivity, and safety compliance.
- Train and develop less-experienced employees.
- Ensure work aligns with drawings, schedules, and Kovach standards.
- Inspect and maintain quality, preventing rework and defects.
