TOPS Staffing is seeking a Metal Finishing Technician in Irwin, PA to prep precision metal components for final inspection and shipment. You will deburr, smooth edges, and polish surfaces to meet quality standards in a hands-on role.

Shifts are 5:00 AM–3:30 PM (Mon–Thu) with OT available on Friday. Starting pay is $20.50/hour. The role offers a stable manufacturing environment with growth potential and a four-day workweek benefit.

Responsibilities

• Deburr, grind, polish, and finish metal components.

• Use basic measuring tools as needed.
• Support rework activities when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Assist with general production tasks as needed.

In this role, you'll prepare precision‑machined metal components for final inspection and shipment by removing burrs, smoothing edges, and polishing surfaces to meet quality standards.

Schedule & Pay

• Shift: Monday-Thursday – OT available on Friday
• Hours: 5AM - 3:30 PM (4 x 10-hour shifts)
• Starting Pay: $20.50/hour

Responsibilities

• Deburr, grind, polish, and finish precision metal components using hand grinders, polishing wheels, and other finishing tools
• Remove sharp edges, machining marks, and imperfections from finished parts
• Operate polishing and finishing equipment to achieve required surface finishes
• Perform visual inspections to ensure parts meet quality standards
• Use basic measuring and inspection tools as needed
• Support rework activities when necessary
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Assist with general production and shop support as needed

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, machine shop, metal finishing, grinding, polishing, or deburring experience preferred
• Comfortable using hand grinders, air tools, and polishing equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Ability to follow written instructions and work independently
• Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials throughout the shift
