Qualifications

• Experience using grinders, sanders, polishers, and similar power tools required.
• Previous experience with metal grinding and polishing required.
• Experience grinding and polishing stainless steel, aluminum, or other architectural metals strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Grind and blend welds on stainless-steel and aluminum pipe, tubing, and fabricated components
• Remove weld discoloration, scratches, tool marks, and other surface imperfections
• Produce uniform directional, brushed, satin, or polished finishes as required
• Restore finished areas to a smooth, consistent appearance that matches surrounding material
• Select and properly use grinding wheels, flap discs, sanding belts, conditioning discs, polishing compounds, and other abrasives
• Maintain consistent quality and production in a fast-paced work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

This is a fast-paced position requiring consistent work, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to focus while producing smooth, uniform finishes. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with grinders, sanders, polishers, and other power tools.
