Job summary

US Anodize in Reading, PA is seeking a Laboratory Technician to assist with chemical handling, sampling, and analysis within a metal finishing facility. You will support waste treatment, maintain anodize lines, and collaborate with the Technical Process and Environmental teams to comply with regulations.

The role requires 3+ years in industrial labs, OSHA HAZWOPER status or ability to obtain within 3 months, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Competitive pay and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing laboratory setting, preferably in metal finishing.
• Laboratory technician experience in industrial environment.
• Experience with documentation and reporting in a manufacturing context.
• Ability to enter confined spaces with proper training.

Responsibilities

• Taking daily samples on the anodize lines.
• Perform analysis per supplier specifications to maintain operating parameters.
• Make additions and adjustments to chemical tanks and treat, empty, and fill tanks safely.
• Support documentation, reporting, and cost-control measures.
• Assist in startup/shutdown of production lines and plant systems.
• Ensure SOPs are followed and safety procedures are implemented.
