Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Painter for the 2nd shift to handle all aspects of painting metal surfaces, including setup, operation, inspection and material handling. You will work safely and cooperatively within Cornerstone policies to meet production standards.

Responsibilities include quality control, equipment maintenance, material management and accurate inventory tracking. The role requires reading, basic math, good communication and strong attendance, with the ability to lift

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and perform basic math skills as job duties require.
• Must possess common sense, positive attitude, and demonstrate excellent attendance.
• Must be quality and safety conscious, a team player.
• Extensive standing, frequent bending, lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Inspect paint finishes to ensure quality standards.
• Set up and operate spray painting equipment and tools.
• Follow safety procedures and wear protective gear.
• Mix and manage inventory of paints and solvents.
• Apply finishes using spray guns, brushes or rollers.
• Complete all tasks assigned by department leadership.
