Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas is hiring a Metal Finisher/Blender to join our Savannah, GA facility. The role involves de-burr, buff, blend, clean, grind, mask, and polish components in accordance with quality and production standards.

We seek candidates with a high school diploma and at least one year of related experience; you will read drawings, perform multiple shop operations, operate the bead blaster, and support TPMs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus at least one year of related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and work instructions.
• Basic arithmetic and measurement skills.
• Reliable, safety-conscious team player.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates our core competencies: Action oriented, change champion, customer-focused, developing self & others, and ownership
• Read, interpret and perform all operations as necessary per drawings and/or work instructions
• General knowledge of all other shop processes
• Multi-task in a fast paced manufacturing environment and does so with minimal supervision
• Perform TPMs on equipment
• File, sand, deburr / polish parts, and have the ability to perform weld prep
• Properly operate the bead blaster
• Perform other such duties as may be required
