Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. is hiring a Metal Finisher/Blender (Off Shift) in the Orlando Service Center. The role focuses on deburring, buffing, blending, cleaning, grinding, masking, and polishing components to meet quality and production standards.

Responsibilities include following drawings and work instructions, reading basic procedures, and supporting other shop processes. We seek candidates with a HS diploma and at least one year of related experience, plus basic math and computer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, plus at least one year of related experience or training.
• Must be able to read and understand basic instructions, write simple correspondence, and communicate effectively in small groups.
• Proficient in basic arithmetic (add/subtract/multiply/divide) with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Able to apply common sense to follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and resolve routine problems with multiple variables.
• Basic computer skills: email, word processing, spreadsheets, and graphics.

Responsibilities

• Deburr, buff, blend, clean, grind, mask, and polish components per drawings and work instructions.
• Read and interpret procedures and perform operations accordingly.
• Maintain knowledge of other shop processes and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Perform TPMs on equipment and use bead blaster and related tools.
• File, sand, deburr, and weld prep as required; ensure quality and production standards.

Role Overview

Mitsubishi Power is hiring a Metal Finisher/Blender (Off Shift) in the Orlando Service Center. The Metal Finisher/Blender will de-burr, buff, blend, clean, grind, mask, and polish components/parts in accordance with company quality and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrates our core competencies: Action oriented, change champion, customer-focused, developing self & others, and ownership
• Read, interpret and perform all operations as necessary per drawings and/or work instructions
• General knowledge of all other shop processes
• Multi-task in a fast paced manufacturing environment and does so with minimal supervision
• Perform TPMs on equipment
• File, sand, deburr / polish parts, and have the ability to perform weld prep
• Properly operate the bead blaster
• Perform other such duties as may be required

Requirements

• Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, plus at least one year of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Communication Skills: Able to read and understand basic instructions, write simple correspondence, and effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Math Skills: Proficient in basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Problem-Solving: Capable of applying common sense to follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and resolve routine problems involving multiple variables.
• Computer Proficiency: Basic skills in using personal computers and common software applications such as email, word processing, spreadsheets, and graphics.
