ROSENBAUER SOUTH DAKOTA LLC in Lyons, SD is seeking a Hosebed/Parts Assembler and Metal Fabricator to join our skilled manufacturing team. You will position, fabricate, and assemble structural metal/aluminum parts according to production schedules, building trays, hosebeds, shelves, and related components.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, welding experience or certification, and the ability to read blueprints and work with basic inspection tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Welding diploma/certificate is preferred.
• Previous applicable fabrication, welding, and brake press experience.

Responsibilities

• Construct trays, shelves, hosebed fronts, hosebeds, tool boards, slides, assemble swivel dumps, tack expanded metal and extrusions, cut and bend coffin lids and more.
• Sets up and operates fabricating machines such as brakes, rolls, shears, and drill presses.
• Positions, aligns, fits, and welds together parts.
• Designs and constructs templates and fixtures.
• Hammers, chips, and grinds workpiece to cut, bend, and straighten metal.
• Verifies conformance of workpiece to specifications.
