Job summary

Qualifications

• Must read blueprints and weld to specifications.
• Experience with structural welding and joining metal tube and pipe.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical welding training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products.
• Follow blueprints to meet product specifications.
• Calculate material measurements to verify specifications.
• Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance.
• Assemble and weld structures, sub-assemblies and be responsible for filing, burring and welding.
• Rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
• Work in a team environment to achieve quality and quantity according to customer needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Safely operate all equipment.
• Operate and maintain a MIG welder without supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
