Job summary

Skeeter is seeking a Metal Fabricator to join our team and sustain production of steel and aluminum trailers. The role involves fabricating trailers, welding, building jigs, and following blueprints to ensure quality.

Responsibilities include operating metalworking equipment, maintaining safety, and supporting R&D with welding tasks. Flexibility with hours and physical work are expected in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate metal working equipment
• Welding certification or proven welding ability
• Read blueprints/drawings and fabricate according to specs
• Lift 75+ lbs and work in heat
• Follow instructions accurately and complete work in a timely manner
• Work flexible hours if needed

Responsibilities

• Construct and fabricate steel boat trailers

JOB SUMMARY:

Position is required to maintain the production of Steel and Aluminum Trailers

JOB DUTIES:

• Construct and fabricate steel boat trailers
• Welding Certification required
• Ensure parts are correct to build product
• Build jigs and fixtures of all sizes and shapes required in production operation
• Build all steel trailers per engineering Blue Prints and Drawings
• Versatile in Depts. 7000 7010 7020
• Assist R&D with welding and fabricating tasks.
• Maintain a clean work area
• Any other duties assigned
