Job summary

Power Drives, Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking a skilled production worker to perform painting and system assembly operations in a climate‑controlled, 100% onsite environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3 years in manufacturing, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. The position pays $20.00 per hour, plus a monthly incentive and annual merit increase, with a Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM–5:30 PM schedule and free parking along the bus line.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Training with conventional hand tools (torque wrench, vise drill, wire crimpers, etc.).
• Must pass respirator health assessment and fit test.
• Welding, machining, or metal fabrication experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute assignments as directed by supervisor.
• Inform supervisor of equipment, process, safety concerns.
• Follow work instructions, safety guidelines, procedures.
• Assemble mechanical and electrical products and systems.
• Perform inspection and validation testing of products.
• Meet quality and quantity requirements.
• Paint operations using paint booth, HVLP paint gun, pressure pot.
• Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Read product blueprints and technical data sheets.
• Train other team members as assigned.
• Housekeeping of assigned areas and cleanup efforts.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance as assigned.
• Accept reassignment to other departments as workload dictates.
