Job summary

Power Drives, Inc. in Buffalo, NY seeks a Brazing Operator to braze, weld, and clean tubular components safely and efficiently, meeting standards for form, fit, quality, and on-time delivery.

High school diploma or equivalent required; at least 1 year in manufacturing. Onsite role with Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM schedule; pay is $17.50 per hour with opportunities for increases through training and monthly incentives.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of successful experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks as required for each assigned task.
• Execute assignments as given by the Brazing Group Leader.
• Follow all work instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Meet or exceed all quality and quantity expectations.
• Accept reassignment to other departments based on workload needs.
• Perform preventative equipment maintenance as assigned.
• Participate in problem-solving activities and customer complaint resolution.
• Immediately report equipment, process, material, safety, or quality concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and assist with larger facility clean-up efforts.
• Adhere to all company policies and work rules.
• Read and interpret product blueprints and technical data sheets.
• Set up and properly use protractors, jigs, fixtures, and other tools as required.
• Ensure completed products are stored in proper bin locations.
