Job summary

Galleher Industries in Kaufman, TX is seeking a Metal Supervisor to lead the daily metal operation and actively fabricate alongside the crew. You will direct employees, assign work, train operators, monitor safety and quality, and keep production moving to meet commitments.

You will set up and operate equipment, read prints, inspect parts, troubleshoot, and ensure first piece through final inspections meet specifications.

Qualifications

• Three+ years metal fabrication or manufacturing experience.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience.
• Experience operating fabrication equipment (press brakes, roll formers, shears, punches, saws, laser).
• Ability to read prints and work orders, use precision tools, and inspect work.
• Welding experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily metal production alongside the team and meet safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost targets.
• Assign workers to jobs and communicate priorities and schedule changes.
• Train and coach operators on equipment operation, print interpretation, inspection methods, and safe practices.
• Set expectations and address performance concerns with escalation to the General Manager as needed.
• Review prints and schedules before starting work and resolve missing information.
