Job summary

Paycom in Orland, IN is seeking a General Laborer to operate fabrication equipment in a steel product plant. The role handles press brakes, wire forming equipment and robotic welders while monitoring quality and performance.

Responsibilities include setup, welding, material handling, inspections and documentation. The position requires basic reading of drawings and strong attention to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing preferred.
• Experience MIG/TIG welding required.
• Ability to read work orders, prints and drawings.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines and troubleshoot issues.
• MIG/TIG welding and operating press brakes and robotic welders.
• Load raw material and unload finished parts safely.
• Monitor quality and machine performance during runs.
• Perform in-process inspections to ensure specs.
• Document production, scrap and quality records.
• Follow safety policies and 5S standards.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet production goals.
