Job summary

Hanover Iron Works, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to assist in fabricating and finishing metal components using welding and grinding techniques.

You will be part of a professional team focused on quality and customer service, moving and prepping steel items and supporting the painting process. The role requires physical work, ability to stand long hours, and flexibility for overtime including Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills are required.
• Experience operating a forklift is preferred.
• Overhead crane experience is a plus.
• Must be organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments and stand up for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stage and prep steel items for paint.
• Operate forklift as needed.
• Perform rigging to move materials as required.
• Bring in or remove steel from the shop as needed.
• Perform other duties to support the fabrication shop.
