Job summary

Fortune Brands Outdoors & Security is seeking an Assembler to assemble metal products such as doors and windows on the shop floor. The role includes cutting and preparing materials, operating various equipment, and performing quality checks with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Ability to read simple instructions and correspondence.
• Ability to read numbers and measurements for order requirements.

Responsibilities

• Position and assemble parts per product and processes.
• Fasten parts using presses, screws, rivets or fasteners.
• Operate drill presses, sawing, punching, laminating and riveting equipment.
• Perform quality checks on products and sometimes inspect others.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE; maintain attendance and teamwork.
• Rotate among work groups and hours as needed.
