Job summary

Aerotek in Holly, MI is seeking a Metal Coil Line Operator for the 3rd shift to operate a heavy metal coil processing line. You will load coils with a hi-lo, feed the line, trim to spec, inspect finished coils, and tag materials for shipment.

The role is physical, requires safety awareness and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You'll gain hands-on experience with the coil line, learn to pull orders on the computer, and contribute to on-time production, quality, and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of machine operation experience, including set up, or welding/fabrication experience.
• Proficient in operating hi-lo or similar material handling equipment to move coils.
• Able to perform physical work and handle heavy coils and bins.
• Comfortable in a loud manufacturing environment with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Load metal coils onto the production line using a hi-lo.
• Feed coils into the processing line following procedures.
• Monitor the line and trim coils to customer specifications.
• Inspect finished coils for gauge, material, and dimensions.
• Tag and label coils accurately.
• Push/pull bins of metal products as part of daily production.
• Follow safety procedures around equipment and moving machinery.
