Job summary

PTC Therapeutics, a global biopharmaceutical company, seeks a Medical Science Liaison to represent products to KOLs, clinicians, and academic centers. You will build long-term relationships through scientific discussions, support medical affairs, and advise on market dynamics.

This field-based role requires extensive travel (50–60%), collaboration across departments, and adherence to SOPs. A strong scientific background and experience with rare diseases are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires advanced scientific degree with at least 2 years as an MSL.
• Experience with orphan products or rare diseases.
• Proven ability to engage KOLs, clinicians, payors and academics.

Responsibilities

• Attend national and regional medical meetings as a representative; gather and summarize findings.
• Deliver fair-balanced and objective clinical presentations to HCPs and payors.
• Identify speakers for advisory boards and educational programs with regulatory materials.
• Support regional medical initiatives and provide market insights to leadership.
• Maintain relationships with health authorities, KOLs, HCPs, payors, and academic institutions.
