Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a laboratory technician to maintain a safe, clean work environment and assist with calibration of lab equipment.

This role requires documentation, precise record-keeping, and clear communication with team members and internal customers. You will prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, work with Quality/Engineering/Operations, and may extend hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Willing to complete PST/LAMT and Metcut (CCL) training off-site prior to independent work.
• Related lab experience is preferred.
• Ability to prioritize work, multi-task, and be action oriented.
• Previous Metcut (CCL) certification and PST / LAMT certification is preferred, as well as prior coating experience.
• Previous work experience with hazardous / chemical processes preferred.
• Detail oriented.
• Experience in production/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of visual and dimensional inspection techniques and ability to read technical drawings for sample preparation preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and office programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following guidelines and regulations.
• Assist in maintenance and calibration of lab equipment; maintain accurate records.
• Stand for long periods and maintain high quality standards.
• Communicate clearly with team members and internal customers.
• Work closely with Quality/Engineering/Operations on tasks; prioritize work to meet deadlines.
• Be able to extend hours, including weekends and holidays.
