Job summary

Blessing Hospital is seeking a transporter to deliver laboratory supplies and reports to healthcare facilities and to transport specimens back to the laboratory. The role also assists as a transport resource for other departments upon request.

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for delivering laboratory supplies and reports to various healthcare facilities and transporting specimens and orders back to the laboratory. The position also acts as a transport agent for other hospital departments upon request. This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Process / Patient Safety Plan at Blessing Hospital.
