Enterprise Legal Hold Retention Solution in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Messaging & Collaboration Platform Engineer- Persistent Chat to join the team. You will act as liaison across Security, Operations, Product, Engineering, Architecture, and vendors to manage product lifecycle.

Responsibilities include owning JIRA workbooks, designing low-level solutions on Linux, deploying environments, and supporting testing for operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience with persistent chat systems such as Mattermost or Rocket.Chat.
• Enterprise-level engineering experience, preferably within financial institutions.
• Strong documentation discipline and risk-aware mindset.
• Experience with cloud-based instant messaging platforms and deployment to mobility frameworks.

Our client, Enterprise Legal Hold Retention Solution is seeking a Messaging & Collaboration Platform Engineer- Persistent Chat (NC) to join their team.

Job Title and Location

Messaging & Collaboration Platform Engineer- Persistent Chat (NC)

Location: Charlotte, NC

Pay Range: $65-$70/hr

What’s the Job?

Act as a liaison with Security, Operations, Product, Engineering, Architecture, and vendors to manage the product lifecycle, including fixes, features, and enhancements.

What’s Needed?

Experience with persistent chat applications such as Mattermost and/or Rocket.Chat hosted on Linux.

Enterprise-level engineering experience, preferably within financial institutions.

Strong documentation discipline and problem-solving skills, with continual ownership of technical documentation accuracy and completeness.

Proven ability to proactively identify, mitigate, and resolve risk, including active participation in reviews of requirements for technical feasibility.

Experience with cloud-enabled instant messaging platforms (e.g., Symphony, Teams, Slack) and deployment of applications to mobility frameworks including MAM and MDM.
