Job summary

Lilly is seeking a seasoned MES Technical Lead & Systems Architect for Lebanon, Indiana. You will own end-to-end MES architecture, including Tulip layer, data models, and integrations to SAP and LabVantage, ensuring validated, compliant, real-time manufacturing operations.

You will mentor engineers, lead design specifications, and drive migration through DEV/QA/Production while collaborating with Operations, Automation, and Quality teams. The role is on-site with travel as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, Software/Computer Engineering or related field.
5+ years with MES or pharma IT platforms, including system integration and CSV in GMP settings.
Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; visa sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

Serve as Technical Lead/SME for LP2 MES architecture and direction.
Design, build, and validate Tulip applications for GxP workflows and electronic batch records.
Direct automation integrations with Automation Engineering for equipment commands and data.
Write design specs compliant with ALCOA+ and 21 CFR Part 11.
Guide components through validated migration lifecycle (DEV to Production).
Participate in Change Control Board and ServiceNow changes.
Collaborate with Operations, Automation, and Quality teams.
Mentor MES engineers and handle complex escalations.
Coordinate with MES Product Owner on ALM requirements/backlog.
Report system status and risk to site/IT leadership.
