Job summary

Lilly in Lebanon, Indiana, seeks a Technical Lead/SME for LP2 MES architecture to own end-to-end MES, from Tulip layer to SAP/PLM integrations, driving design, build, and validation of GMP workflows and electronic batch records.

The role combines technical authority with hands-on engineering, mentoring MES staff and coordinating with Operations, Automation, and Quality to ensure compliance and timely delivery. Bachelor's in IT/Software and 5+ years MES/CSV experience required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT/Software Engineering or related field.
5+ years with MES or pharma IT platforms, including system integration and CSV in GMP settings.
Experience with validation concepts (IQ/OQ/UAT) and ALCOA+ principles.

Responsibilities

Serve as Technical Lead/SME for LP2 MES architecture, standards, and direction.
Design, build, and validate Tulip applications for GMP workflows and eBRs.
Collaborate with Automation Engineering for equipment commands and process value subscriptions.
Author/approve design specs per ALCOA+ and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.
Support validated migrations DEV → QA → Production and participate in CCB.
