Job summary

W. L. Gore & Associates is seeking an IT Developer/Technical Analyst – Supply Chain to design, implement, and maintain MES-enabled supply chain solutions integrated with SAP S/4HANA.

The role focuses on manufacturing optimization and collaboration with cross‑functional teams at the Elkton, Maryland facility with a potential hybrid work setup. The position requires MES experience, Ignition Platform, and strong programming skills (Python/Java/C#/SQL).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years MES development, implementation and support.
• Experience with Ignition Platform integrated in an SAP environment.
• Proficiency with MES software and programming languages (Python, Java, C#, SQL) and database management (Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement MES and supply chain solutions integrated with SAP S/4HANA.
• Ensure MES integration with ERP/PLM/SCM systems.
• Configure MES software per enterprise architecture guidelines.
• Perform regular lifecycle, maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting.
• Analyze MES data to derive process improvements.
• Support and resolve ongoing technical issues regionally and globally.
• Follow ITIL/SDLC processes and maintain documentation.
• Travel up to 10%.
