Job summary

Gore Fabrics seeks an IT Developer/Technical Analyst - Supply Chain to design, implement, and maintain MES solutions integrated with SAP S/4HANA. You will collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and IT to optimize manufacturing processes and MES workflows.

Based at the Elkton facility in Maryland with a possible hybrid arrangement, you will lead lifecycle maintenance, contribute to data-driven improvements, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting a global fabrics business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in MES development, implementation, and support.
• Experience with the Ignition Platform integrated in an SAP environment.
• Proficiency in MES software (e.g. Kanoa, Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, GE Digital Proficy, Loftware Spectrum).
• Programming languages (Python, Java, C#, SQL) and database management (Oracle).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex systems and data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a global team with cross-functional collaboration.
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement MES solutions integrated with SAP S/4HANA to fit manufacturing needs.
• Ensure seamless MES integration with ERP, PLM, and SCM systems.
• Configure/customize MES software to match unique manufacturing processes.
• Perform regular maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Analyze MES data to provide insights for process improvements.
• Collaborate with users to resolve technical issues and maintain system availability.
• Document configurations, changes, and procedures per ITIL/SDLC processes.
• Comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support MES enhancements from conception to completion within budget.
