Job summary

Cbase Inc is seeking an MES Lead to drive the recipe development workstream for an MES implementation. You will ensure high-quality configuration, adherence to standards, and alignment with manufacturing and architectural requirements.

You will lead the recipe development team, translate requirements into MES design, and enforce standards across environments, while collaborating with shop floor stakeholders and the MES Architect to ensure a cohesive solution.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in MES, preferably Emerson Syncade.
• Hands-on recipe authoring, workflow configuration, and EBR.
• Solid understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
• Experience leading small to mid-sized development teams.
• Knowledge of GxP, validation processes, and documentation standards.
• Familiarity with integration with automation systems (DeltaV, PLCs).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the recipe development team for MES implementation.
• Translate functional requirements into MES recipe design and configuration.
• Define and enforce recipe development standards and naming conventions.
• Review and approve recipe configurations, workflows, and batch execution logic.
• Collaborate with the MES Architect to align development with solution architecture.
• Work with business and shop floor stakeholders to clarify requirements.
• Oversee development of recipe objects, equipment workflows, and Electronic Batch Records (EBR).
• Ensure version control, migration, and configuration management across Dev/Test/FAT environments.
• Support and guide the team during testing phases.
• Review and contribute to FS, CS, and test documents.
• Ensure compliance with GxP and validation in all activities.
• Provide technical mentoring to developers.
