Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking an SAP MES Integration Manager to lead the design, configuration, and deployment connecting SAP ERP/S4HANA with MES platforms. You will collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and IT teams to deliver end-to-end MES integrations across production orders, material movements, and quality data.

Ideal candidates have 4-6 years delivering SAP-enabled MES solutions, strong production execution knowledge, and experience with SAP PP/PI and related modules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, supply chain, manufacturing or related.
• Typically 4–6 years delivering SAP-enabled MES solutions including at least one full lifecycle implementation or major rollout.
• Strong functional knowledge of production execution in discrete, repetitive, or process manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience integrating SAP S/4HANA or SAP ERP with SAP PP/PP-PI and related modules (QM, MM, EWM, PM).
• Experience with SAP Digital Manufacturing, SAP ME/MII or leading MES platforms such as Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, Ignition, Plex, or PTC.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops to assess current MES capabilities and business objectives.
• Translate requirements into scalable functional and technical designs.
• Design end-to-end integration between SAP S/4HANA/ERP and MES applications.
• Configure and support inbound/outbound production transactions and quality data.
• Define interface architecture using SAP Integration Suite, APIs, IDocs, web services, and edge connectivity solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve dependencies.
• Prepare architecture, specifications, test scripts, and deployment plans.
• Support cutover, data readiness, go-live, and hypercare.
