Job summary

Rockline Industries is seeking an experienced OT/Engineering professional to lead MES implementation across Rockline plants in the US. You will collaborate with plant teams and external integrators to align controls, data, and reporting with Rockline standards.

Role focuses on PLC/HMI connectivity, MES enforcement, and scalable deployment, with opportunities to expand into broader OT responsibilities as the MES program matures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, industrial, or mechanical engineering.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience with progressive technical responsibility in OT/engineering.
• Hands-on experience using controls and PLCs (Rockwell, Bosch and Siemens).
• Ability to communicate detailed technical information and translate into business rules.
• Ability to influence without authority and mentor stakeholders.
• Knowledge of IoT/Industry 4.0 based systems preferred.
• Experience with MES software (AVEVA) and data tools (SQL, JavaScript).
• Experience contributing to largescale, multiplant initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Secure and integrate feedback from seven plants to ensure safe, consistent line controls.
• Act as liaison between plant stakeholders and MES integrators for requirements and translations.
• Own machine permissives, MES enforcement, stop conditions, and PLC tags documentation.
• Design, develop, test, validate, and troubleshoot MES integrations with equipment, PLCs, HMIs, scanners, and quality systems.
• Define MES integration standards with GE and OT teams and review external design work.
• Establish MES startup/shutdown protocols to ensure safety and reliability.
• Support phased MES roadmap rollout, pilot definition, and deployment planning for future plants.
• Support change management, gather user feedback, and drive adoption across operations.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and integration standards for OT teams.
• Align work with Rockline RRITE values and safety commitments.
