Job description

Join to apply for the MES II Technician AirReps role at Daikin Comfort

Position Summary: Support the service group and sales staff. Perform startup, service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC products, including but not limited to Variable Refrigerant Flow systems, VFD, AHUs, RTUs, Chillers, etc.

Position Responsibilities may include:

1. Assist with startup, commissioning, and servicing for Daikin VRV systems.
2. Assist with HVAC equipment replacement, installation, and retrofit.
3. Assist with startup, commissioning of HVAC products, including Daikin Applied, Daikin North America, Huntair, Temtrol, Venmar, and BAC cooling towers.
4. Work closely with service coordinators for daily direction and scheduling.
5. Maintain safety as a priority and work in a safe manner.
6. Assist with startup, warranty paperwork, and service reports in a timely manner.
7. Operate a company vehicle safely with a clean driving record.
8. Work schedule includes Monday through Friday with flexibility for overtime and weekends.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Computer skills for navigating diagnostic and commissioning programs/tools.

Experience: 1+ years of HVAC experience.

Education/Certification:

• Certification from an accredited HVAC Trade School or Apprentice card from an approved apprenticeship.
• Washington State L&I O6A Journeyman Electrical Trainee Card (required).
• EPA 608 Universal License (required).
• OSHA 30 (desired).
• CPR certification.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment:

• Ability to lift over 75 pounds.
• Work often in extreme conditions, indoors and outdoors, on lifts, ladders, etc.
• Potential for local travel across WA.

Reports To: Service Manager.

Pay Range: $43.17 + union benefits (Local 32).
