Job summary

Koh Young America seeks a MES Engineer to design, install, and maintain MES/software solutions for customers across the Americas (USA, Canada, Mexico, South America). You will act as a technical expert on system architecture, data standardization, and communication protocols to connect Koh Young inspection systems with upper-level manufacturing systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, CS, Electronics, Information Systems or related.
• 2+ years, Web Services, TCP/IP, parsers, etc.
• 2+ years, Windows and Linux-based OS.
• 1+ year, IPC-CFX, IPC-HERMES, SECS/GEM, iTAC or similar standard.
• 1+ year, SPI and AOI programming, operation and maintenance.
• Excellent English communication; bilingual Spanish or Korean preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and build customized MES solutions for the Americas (USA, Canada, Mexico, and South America).
• Standardize complex MES data requirements, design communication architectures, and document integration specifications.
• Gather feedback and issues from field service engineers and HQ to guide MES product development and improvements.
• Provide remote technical support as a helpdesk agent for MES development and installation.
• Deliver on-site MES installation, system setup, evaluations, and user/engineer training.
• Collaborate with sales teams on MES technical consulting, lead customer meetings, review quotations, draft proposals, and demonstrate solutions at trade shows.
• Maintain expert-level knowledge of Koh Young systems and MES tools, and train internal engineers on the latest MES protocols.
