Job summary

IAPMO is seeking an MES Engineer to design, implement, and support MES/MOM solutions across Life Sciences, Food & Beverage, and Specialty Chemical industries.

This hands-on role sits at the intersection of MES, automation, controls, and plant-floor systems, helping customers connect manufacturing processes with real-time data and business applications from requirements through deployment and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on MES, automation, or related tech experience.
• Experience with AVEVA/Wonderware MES, PAS-X, Ignition/Sepasoft, Syncade or similar.
• Strong plant-floor automation and controls understanding; Rockwell/Allen-Bradley preferred.
• Proven ability to integrate MES with PLCs, SCADA, ERP, and databases.
• Excellent troubleshooting and client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and support MES/MOM solutions for manufacturing clients.
• Lead MES projects through requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Integrate MES with PLCs, SCADA, HMI, databases, ERP, and other plant-floor systems.
• Troubleshoot MES/automation issues and develop reliable solutions.
• Develop data flows, workflows, and reporting to improve visibility and efficiency.
• Collaborate with customers and project teams to deliver solutions.
