Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking an Manufacturing OT Engineer in St. Louis, MO to lead MES (PharmaSuite) and AVEVA PI initiatives. You will partner with IT, Data Sciences, Validation, MSE, and Quality to digitize paper-based processes and drive standardization across the enterprise.

The role demands strong SME capabilities in manufacturing operations, data strategy, and regulatory compliance, with a focus on digital transformation and site validation.

Qualifications

• BS in IT/CS/Biology or related field; MS preferred.
• 5+ years implementing MES technologies (PharmaSuite or similar).
• Experience with GMP regulations and data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Act as Operations/Manufacturing System Owner for MES – PharmaSuite and AVEVA PI.
• Lead during digital platform implementation and rollout.
• Be SME for Manufacturing operations across IT/Data/QA groups.
• Digitize paper-based processes with cross-functional teams.
• Define data strategy leveraging AVEVA PI and other platforms.
• Ensure compliance with GAMP 5 and 21 CFR Part 11.
