Job summary

ATS Global is seeking an experienced MES Engineer to lead Siemens Opcenter Execution implementations across international manufacturing sites. You will be responsible for designing, configuring and integrating MES solutions with ERP/SAP, PLM and other shop-floor systems.

Join a global MOM team and drive full project lifecycles, from requirements gathering to go-live, while collaborating with customers, project managers and engineers.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of MES/MOM implementation experience.
• Hands-on with Siemens Opcenter Execution or similar MES.
• Strong SQL and database knowledge.
• Experience integrating enterprise and shop-floor systems.

Are you an experienced MES Engineer with hands-on expertise in Siemens Opcenter Execution?

At ATS Global, we help manufacturers worldwide transform their operations through Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM), Industrial IT, automation, and digitalisation.

We are looking for a Siemens Opcenter Execution Engineer to join our growing MOM team and work on international manufacturing projects from solution design through implementation and go-live.

What you'll do:

You will be involved across the full MES project lifecycle, including:

• Gather and analyse manufacturing and business requirements
• Lead or support workshops with production, quality, engineering, and IT stakeholders
• Design, configure and customise Siemens Opcenter Execution solutions
• Develop MES workflows, transactions, forms, reports, and integrations
• Translate manufacturing processes into scalable MES solutions
• Integrate Opcenter with ERP/SAP, PLM, SCADA, PLC, historians and other shop-floor systems
• Work with SQL databases and system configuration
• Prepare technical documentation and deployment specifications
• Support testing, validation, FAT, SAT, commissioning and go-live
• Troubleshoot technical issues during implementation and post-go-live support
• Deliver user training and knowledge transfer
• Work closely with customers, project managers, architects, automation engineers, and manufacturing teams

What we're looking for:

• 3-5+ years of MES/MOM implementation experience
• Hands-on experience with Siemens Opcenter Execution, Camstar, or a comparable enterprise MES platform
• Experience with MES configuration, development, deployment, or software engineering
• Strong SQL and database knowledge
• Experience integrating enterprise and shop-floor systems
• Good understanding of manufacturing operations and production processes
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Manufacturing Systems, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Comfortable working in a customer-facing consulting environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global, cross-functional team
• Willingness to travel up to 30%, as required

Nice to have

Experience with:

• Opcenter Execution Process, Discrete, Electronics, Pharma or Medical Device
• ISA-95 / ISA-88
• SAP integration
• SCADA, PLC, historian or industrial automation technologies
• Technical workstream or small engineering team leadership
• Siemens Opcenter / MOM certifications

Experience in Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, Food & Beverage, Chemicals, Automotive, Electronics or Discrete Manufacturing is highly desirable.
