Job summary

Lilly Lebanon API is hiring a Sr Principal Scientist, MES Data and Integration Lead to design, deploy, and sustain MES/EBR within a GMP manufacturing site in Lebanon, IN. You will translate manufacturing requirements into MES solutions, ensure data governance, and own system integrations across DeltaV, SAP, and related tech stacks.

The role focuses on ensure MES readiness, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and enabling compliant, digital-first operations with potential travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering field and 5+ years in regulated manufacturing.
• It expects experience working across multi-disciplinary teams in automation/MES.
• Authorised to work in the United States for full-time employment is required.
• Prior MES/EBR implementation and data governance experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as MES/EBR SME for assigned API manufacturing areas and ensure operational readiness.
• Collaborate with process SMEs to review PLM parameters for MES configuration.
• Oversee migration of product and process data into production MES environments.
• Support MES ownership activities and provide backup coverage.
• Partner with DeltaV, SAP, and Digital Technology teams for integration and dashboards post go-live.
• Coordinate with Operations, QA, Engineering, Automation, and Validation for integrated execution.
• Lead MES training and rollout materials for operational readiness.
