Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with high-net worth clients, identify needs, develop relationships, review investment goals, and prepare tailored investment recommendations.
  • Leverage technology to achieve business growth, profile client activities to determine investor profiles and financial objectives, and build a sustainable book of business.
  • Provide opportunities for advisors to pursue a career within the bank.
  • This role requires SAFE Act registration; employees must register and pass background checks, with failure to do so potentially leading to disciplinary action.

Additional Details:

  • Provide personalized advice through client reviews and presentations, assessing financial goals and recommending strategies.
  • Partner with Financial Advisor teams, share market insights, and promote portfolio growth.
  • Develop and grow a client book to meet financial targets, and prioritize client requests.

The Advisor Development Program (ADP):

This program guides you to become a successful, independent financial advisor through training and mentorship, working with affluent and high-net worth clients, and developing relationship management skills. Located in a Merrill branch, this role offers growth, networking, and professional development opportunities.

  • Receive training, mentorship, and enrollment in our Academy.
  • Build a network and business, deliver financial advice confidently, and connect clients to appropriate solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Series 7 & 66 licenses (or 63 and 65 in lieu of 66).
  • At least two years in financial services or a sales environment, with a minimum of one year in investments, including product knowledge.
  • Self-starter, goal-oriented, relationship builder, effective communicator, and capable of managing a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in lead generation, balancing management, and sales.
  • Strong computer skills, bachelor's degree, and professional designations like CFP or CRPC are a plus. Insurance licenses are desirable.
