Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with high-net worth clients to identify needs, develop relationships, review investment goals, and prepare recommendations aligning with client objectives.
  • Leverage technology to achieve business growth goals.
  • Profile activities to determine client investor profiles and financial resource objectives.
  • Build a sustainable book of business and provide career development opportunities for advisors.
  • This position requires SAFE Act registration; employees must register, complete background checks, and maintain good standing, with disciplinary actions possible for non-compliance.

Advisor Development Program (ADP):

This program guides you to become a successful, independent financial advisor through training and mentorship. You will work with affluent and high-net worth clients, developing relationship management skills, and preparing for a career within Merrill Wealth Management. Located in a Merrill branch.

Training and Growth:

  • Receive training and mentorship from invested managers.
  • Build your network and business through marketing and client interactions.
  • Deliver client reviews and recommend financial strategies.
  • Learn about a full suite of financial solutions and connect clients to appropriate services.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Series 7 & 66 licenses (or 63 & 65 in lieu of 66).
  • At least two years in financial services or a sales environment with goal attainment.
  • Minimum one year in investments, with knowledge of investment products.
  • Self-starter with strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage goals and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven lead generation ability.
  • Experience balancing management, sales, and client development.
  • Strong computer skills and multitasking ability.
  • Bachelor’s degree, CFP or CRPC designations, insurance licenses are a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:
