Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Software Engineer I to join our Technology team and help grow our digital platform. You will perform end-to-end engineering tasks including development, testing, health monitoring, and documentation for system assignments in a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of programming experience with MERN stack, JavaScript, REST APIs, and exposure to cloud services like AWS; familiarity with modern DevOps, CI/CD, and test automation is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related STEM field, or equivalent.
• At least 2 additional years of software engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis, design, development, and configuration for intermediate complexity projects.
• Collaborate with the team to analyze defects and incidents and implement solutions.
• Contribute to tradeoff discussions and deliver work in small batches.
