Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking a Software Engineer I in Minnesota to grow and transform our technology landscape. You will perform end-to-end engineering tasks, including development, testing, debugging, documentation, and health monitoring for assigned systems.

You will work with MERN or Java/.NET stacks, REST APIs, cloud platforms (AWS), Kafka, and CI/CD pipelines in a microservices architecture. The role emphasizes collaboration, problem solving, and delivering reliable software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related STEM field, or equivalent.
• 3 years of programming/development experience.
• Experience with MERN stack or Java/.NET and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with microservices and containerization.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis, design, development, and configuration for intermediate complexity assignments.
• Collaborate with team to resolve defects and incidents of intermediate complexity.
