Job summary

Job description

Full-time, year-round. $24 to $30/hr depending on experience. Start early 2027.

CBC breeds strawberries. Our cleanstock lab in French Camp puts our varieties and selections through meristem culture, and we need a technician to run it day to day.

The job is mostly meristem cuts under the scope, plus media prep and autoclaving, subculture, moving plantlets out to the screenhouse, and keeping the inventory straight. Once trained, you'll run the lab on your own for a week or two at a time.

We want someone with tissue culture or other sterile lab experience, or a plant science or biology degree and good hands. We'll train the cutting. Strawberry experience is a plus.

The lab is in French Camp, minutes from Stockton, Manteca and Tracy. On site only.
