Job summary

Mercy South Float Pool is seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse to provide flexible, high-quality care across multiple units. You will rotate through Orthopedics, Med/Surg, Telemetry, ICU, Emergency, and more, delivering patient-centered nursing using the Mercy Nursing Professional Practice Model.

With 1–2 years of bedside RN experience, you will join a team that values learning, teamwork, and compassion. A BSN is preferred, and Mercy offers a generous sign-on bonus, meaningful shift differentials,

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of bedside RN experience.
• Nursing degree from an accredited school (BSN preferred).
• Current RN license in the state where Mercy operates.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across multiple units as part of the float pool.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
• Maintain professional accountability and follow Mercy's nursing practice standards.

Full-Time Sign-On Bonus: $20,000

• Flexible, No-Contract Option: Bonus paid in four equal installments at 6, 12, 18, and 24 months.
• Upfront Payment Option: Receive 50% at start and the remaining 50% at 6 months with a 2-year commitment.

Competitive Pay with Tiered Differentials:

• Tier 3 (Med/Surg):+$5.00/hr
• Tier 2 (Stepdown):+$7.50/hr
• Tier 1 (ICU):+$10.00/hr

Additional Shift Differentials:

• Evening: +$2.00/hr
• Night: +$2.50/hr
• Weekend: +$1.50/hr

Qualifications

• Experience:1–2 years of bedside RN experience
• Education:Nursing degree from an accredited school (BSN preferred)
• License:Current RN license in the state
• Certifications: BLS through the American Heart Association
• Physical requirements/demands:
  • Push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Prolonged standing and walking each shift
  • Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
