Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Merchant Portfolio Analyst - Implementation Specialist to steer end-to-end merchant processing implementations from onboarding to go-live. You will coordinate with Sales, Portfolio Management, Integrations, Contracts, Credit, Compliance, and Vendors to ensure timely, within-scope deliveries and a superb client experience.

  • 3+ years Payments and Merchant Payment Processing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the implementation of merchant processing solutions from initiation to completion.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Manage multiple client implementations simultaneously.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive implementations to completion.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for merchant clients during assigned implementation.
  • Gathers required documentation during intake for client implementations.
  • Submit all onboarding templates and forms as needed.
  • Engage resources to complete tasks for successful implementation.
  • Attend implementation project meetings as needed.
  • Track and provide updates on implementation status.
  • Research, escalate and resolve issues to ensure timely implementation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with client and technical resources.
  • Perform post-implementation validation (auth/settle/funding/interchange/billing).

Job Description: The Merchant Portfolio Analyst - Implementation Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end implementation of merchant payment processing solutions. This role ensures that clients are onboarded efficiently, payment processing systems are integrated successfully, and projects are completed in a timely fashion and within scope. The Merchant Portfolio Analyst-Implementation Specialist partners across the broader organization and with key vendors to drive client experience and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the implementation of merchant processing solutions from initiation to completion
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables
  • Manage multiple client implementations simultaneously
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Portfolio Management, Integrations, Contracts, Credit, Compliance, Vendors) to drive implementations to completion
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for merchant clients during assigned implementation
  • Work with internal partners to gather required documentation during intake for client implementations
  • Complete and submit of CIMS Implementation Request and Acquiring Solutions Intake form for assigned implementation projects
  • Complete and submit all applicable boarding templates and forms, as needed
  • Engage required resources as needed to complete tasks for a successful implementation
  • Facilitate and attend implementation project meetings, as needed to ensure successful completion of assigned implementation projects
  • Track and provide updates on assigned implementation status via implementation item/record creation
  • Research, esc... and resolve issues during implementation to ensure a timely implementation
  • Work closely with client and technical resources to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during implementation
  • Perform post-implementation validation (auth/settle/funding/interchange/billing)
