TikTok is seeking a Semi-Managed Merchant Operation Intern for Summer 2027 in Seattle. This role focuses on developing full lifecycle merchandise strategies, merchant recruitment and support, and data-driven process improvements within TikTok Shop - Operations.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with strong numerical and interpersonal skills, ready to commit to a 12-week internship, and eager to work across teams to deliver category growth and merchant satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Project Management, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Excellent problem solving and numerical abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced internship environment and adapt to changes.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise & Category Oversight: Assist in formulating full lifecycle merchandise strategies; analyze hit SKU logic; enhance category merchandise supply and price competitiveness; understand competitor strategies and industry trends.
• Full-Lifecycle Merchant Operations: Develop merchant recruitment and support plans; support overseas managed/semi-managed products; improve merchant sign-up and renewal rates; resolve merchant issues; collaborate with on-site operations to boost category performance.
• Data Analysis & Methodology Precipitation: Track KPIs; identify core issues through multi-dimensional data comparisons; develop reusable operation methodologies; iterate the operations system.
• Teamwork & Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Participate in cross-functional projects; align with events, influencers, product teams; drive complex projects with cross-departmental impact.
